Introducing RAILFest 2026!

Now in its third year, RAILFest offers fun activities for parents, children, and the young at heart: a giant model train built from over 100,000 LEGO® bricks, plus thousands more bricks for you to create your own designs and add to the display. There is also a contest with a grand prize up for grabs. The event features an exhibition of rare, historic CP timepieces—including the precision instruments that played a vital role in the operation of transcontinental trains across Canada. Don't miss the fascinating talks at 10 a.m. on August 1, 2, and 3, where Brian MacDonald of Macklem House will share the story of how these iconic timepieces helped shape the nation's railway history.
