Ministers Island is a provincial and federal historic site and is managed by the Van Horne Estate on Ministers Island Inc., a community based non-profit charitable organization dedicated to preserving the nature and history of the island. Fees from park entrance go towards the annual operating budget and help contribute to facilities restoration and program development activities.

ADMISSIONS:
During peak season, access to the park, including tours of the historic Van Horne Estate and its iconic structures are available at the following admission prices:

TOURS & BUILDING ADMISSION: *plus HST

Adults $15* each
Students (with ID) $13* each
Seniors (65+) $13* each
Children under 7 FREE
Members FREE all year
Guests with Members (up to four) $13* each

WALKERS/HIKERS

No Tour or Building Access
During peak season we ask walkers and hikers to pay a small admission fee for maintenance of the roads, trails and related facilities. This fee does not include access to the Tours or the Buildings.

Walkers/hikers (without cars) $5 each

If you change your mind upgrades for Tour and Building access are available at the Gift Shop in the main house.

Memberships

Annual members access the park for free. Individual memberships are $45 and family memberships are $65 annually. For membership information and on-line membership registration go here, or call 506-529-5081.

Let Us Refund Your Admission! Apply your admission cost toward the purchase of an island membership on the same day. Ask for details at the Gift Shop in the main house.

Guided Tours

Guided tours of the trails or buildings for parties of six or more can be arranged by contacting tours@ministersisland.net for availability and cost information.

Non-Peak Season Access by Donation

Outside of peak season operating hours, admission to the island's trail system is by donation for non-members at the ticket booth on the island side of the bar. To assist us in tracking usage of the trails we request that you sign in at the Ticket Booth upon arrival on the island. During peak season tour times please check in with the attendant at the gate. During hours when the island is closed for tours there is a log book located on the outside of the Ticket Booth for your convenience.

Please note: Dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash at all times.
