Ministers Island is a provincial and federal historic site and is managed by the Van Horne Estate on Ministers Island Inc., a community based non-profit charitable organization dedicated to preserving the nature and history of the island. Fees from park entrance go towards the annual operating budget and help contribute to facilities restoration and program development activities.

Advance Online Booking offers visitors the ease of prebooking online 24 hrs prior to visiting at a reduced rate when compared to purchases onsite at the ticket booth. Annual members access the park for free. Individual memberships are $60 and family memberships are $100 annually. For membership information and on-line membership registration go here, or call 506-529-5081.

Guided Tours

Guided tours of the trails or buildings for parties of six or more can be arranged by contacting for availability and cost information.

Non-Peak Season Access by Donation

Outside of peak season operating hours, admission to the island's trail system is by donation for non-members at the ticket booth on the island side of the bar. To assist us in tracking usage of the trails we request that you sign in at the Ticket Booth upon arrival on the island. During peak season tour times please check in with the attendant at the gate. During hours when the island is closed for tours there is a log book located on the outside of the Ticket Booth for your convenience.

Please note: Dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash at all times.

Ministers Island is a Wildlife Management Area and as such under the NB Fish and Wildlife Act   no person shall at any time or in any season hunt or disturb any wildlife within the boundaries of the park.
